My 15 year old Golden Retriever has been using Arthro-IonX and I think it has really helped her a lot. The vet (who does not believe in alternative medicine) said I should put my dog on Rimadyl. Is this necessary? Also, she has had diarrhea twice in the last month. Do you have a product or recommendation for something that might help her? Thanks so much, Terri

Dear Terri,

You might be giving too much if we are talking about the same middle line which is half way. I would try 1/4 teaspoon twice daily on her food. If you need to you could give another 1/4 teaspoon between meals. Too much can soften the stools. However this does not explain the two episodes of diarrhea.

Please let me know if it happens again after changing the dosage. Also write on the calender when the diarrhea happens. Sometimes there is a pattern.

Best regards,
