My dog is 10 yrs old and she just started to bite her hind quarters. I caught her eating something in the yard and stopped her but now her stool has oval shaped almost clear things in it. I give her carrots and green beans with her food. I don't know what to think. RoseMarie

Dear RoseMarie,

I would bring a stool sample in to your veterinarian to have it checked for parasites. Hopefully what you are seeing in the stool is part of the plant material you are giving.

If it is negative meaning no worms please let us know and I will give you other suggestions about what you can do.

Best regards,
