My dog hurt his leg this morning running, he slipped on the tiles, when I go to pick him up he yelps in pain and won't put his leg flat on ground. Is there anything that I can give him as we have no Vet around.

Dear Debbie,

I hope that your dog did not damage the ligament in his knee. That injury takes a while to recover from. I usually recommend our homeopathic product, Promaxol, to reduce pain and inflammation and stimulate healing. It won't upset the stomach as aspirin can. I would also try to find a veterinary chiropractor if the lameness persists longer than a few days. If you get a diagnosis please let me know and I can suggest more that you could do.

Best regards,
