Health Questions & Answers

Both my dogs have cushing disease. I do not have them on vetoryl because I cannot afford it for both. I give them cushex drops, milk thisle arthritis medicine, and vitamins. Zoey has pancreatitis and has to take one pill for heart and one for water 2 times a day. Will Promaxol hurt either of them with all that I am giving them. I will only give it when I think they are in pain. Also is there anything to help with the panting and helping Zoey to rest at night?

Dear Peggy,

I would try PROMAXOL to reduce any discomfort and help healing to begin. It is safe to give with other medications but it should be given at a separate time. PROMAXOL would be a good choice for your dog because it contains the stronger LM potencies. The oligotherapeutic mineral base found in the IONX products helps the body to better utilize the other nutritional substances given for a synergistic response and faster healing. I would give a half dose of Promaxol with each meal initially. After improvement is seen then you can switch to a whole dose once daily. Also be sure to give sufficient fresh water that is free of chlorine and fluoride. The other thing that is sometimes beneficial is to have a certified veterinary chiropractor check for spinal alignment and make any corrections as necessary. Proper spinal alignment might help with the panting at night. Acupuncture might also help. I would start with the homeopathic PROMAXOL and then try to get a chiropractic consultation after that.

Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char
