My 11 year old cat has spurs on his spine in 3 places. I need a long term pain killer and anti-inflammatory. Since I am on disability, I can't afford anything more expensive than 10-15 dollars. Mostly I need to know what to give him.

Dear Kerry, You cannot use human NSAIDS for pain since those can kill a cat. Veterinary ones tend to be expensive unless your veterinarian can prescribe a small dose. Our Arthro-IonX has helped many pets, but is more than what you want to spend initially. It would not be that expensive per month because a bottle would last a long time. For cats I use 10 drops twice daily. Fish oil is not too expensive and that helps to reduce inflammation and thus would help to decrease pain.

Hope this helps you to help your kitty feels better soon.

Best regards,
