My cat, who is 17 yrs old, has severe arthritis in her legs and hips and is currently on pain medication for the first time. I am considering trying Arthro-IonX. My question is, will Arthro-IonX work on severe arthritis and in doing so, does it have the ability to relieve some of the pain? Thanks very much for your time. Steve

Dear Steve,

Arthro-IonX would be a safer choice than NSAIDS for an older kitty. As you begin to see improvement on Arthro-IonX you might be able to decrease the amount of the other medication. The other medication can be hard on the liver and kidneys and so if less is needed it will be better for the body. You might also consider Probiotics for Dogs and Cats, and Omega 3,6,9. Both of these are also helpful for arthritis symptoms.

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
