I am presently using Lantus for my cat but it is $260 for a small bottle...is it possible for residents of Michigan to get Vetsulin with a vet's prescription? Would have to ask vet and also would need the needles....I love the cat, but this is getting very expensive to keep using Lantus which she said was the only thing available.....but find in reading about Vetsulin, it is also for cats. Thanks...Elaiane

Dear Elaine,

Veterinarians in Michigan can write prescriptions. You would need to get your veterinarian to call the script in for you or find another veterinarian who is willing to do it.

Are you giving any supplements and what kind kind of food, treats, and other medications?

Best regards,
