I have a 18 month old Dogo that has recovered beautifully from knee arthritis since taking the Arthro-IonX for dogs and now I just ordered the medicine for my horse. My question is does the medicine kill the bacteria in the area of soreness? -Matt-

Dear Matt,

Arthro-IonX is not an antibiotic. It helps the body to heal by reducing swelling and can help the immune system to work better. With less swelling the body can work on the infection better. If there is obvious infection you should discuss with your veterinarian if he or she would recommend a particular antibiotic.

Best regards,
