Please help if you're able: Today, my baby girl cried out getting off my bed. Since Sept. she's had x-rays, meds. (Rimadyl chewables) from Tremont Vet. in Cleveland. They are caring people and have tried to help. I think this was already becoming an issue for her, however, in Sept. with furniture movers and confusion in our home, Kenzie was behind me and I stepped backwards; I must have caught her foot and she pulled back ~ again, with a painful cry. Dr. told me she has arthritis in her shoulders; now her back side must be bad because she has a lot of difficulty getting up and she hobbles on both back legs going downstairs. They are telling me I can see an orthopedic vet in another town. What about the Arthro-IonX?

Dear Carole,

I would start with PROMAXOL. It helps to decrease pain, inflammation, and stiffness and stimulate healing. Initially I would give a half dose with breakfast and supper. After improvement is seen you can decrease to a whole dose once daily. For longer term management you can switch to ARTHRO-IONX. In addition I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany the homeopathic. I would use Probiotics and Omega 3,6,9. What type of food and water are you giving?

I would also suggest an evaluation by a veterinary chiropractor. If a correction is needed, that can help with better movement.

Please keep us updated and we can help guide you.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
