Health Questions & Answers

My Goldie, Caileig, is nearly 8 and is usually very healthy. She is naturally reared so no dry food. A couple of weeks ago she got an infected rear back fourth toe. I went to the vet and he subscribed anti-biotics and anti-inflammitory and said to discontinue if she vomited. I did not want to give them so have been bathing it in salt water putting calanudula cream on it.  At the check today the vet said it has healed but recomended a antifungal shampoo to douch it in twice a day for a few months. I am not comfortable with this can you suggest an alternative? I hope to take her to the sea for a swim tomorrow. Thank you for your help. Regards -Bronte-

Dear Bronte,

If you are concerned about residual internal infection you might want to give our homeopathic, Derma-IonNX, orally. It encourages the body to detoxify and expel what should not be there. It can also be sprayed on the toe.
