Hi, I have a 16 year 8 month old Chinese Crested Powderpuff she has raised kidney levels and is on Hill k/d diet. She has arthritis and is wobbly on her hind legs. My Vet hasn't prescribed pain relief in case it worsens kidneys. She isn't on any medication is your product safe to give my baby. I am in the UK. Kind regards.

Dear Chris,

The homeopathics PROMAXOL or ARTHRO-IONX would be safe for a dog with kidney issues. I would split the dose in half and give half with breakfast and again with supper. It is a safer alternative to NSAIDS. Once improvement is seen you can give the whole dose once daily. I would also give probiotics which can help both the kidneys and the arthritis.
