My cat has red itchy skin under belly, I have used fungal pills for a long time but still has problem, has revolution for mites if that was it, still has problem.. Can I bathe him in castillo soap and rinse in light vinegar then water? Will it help?? or What to do?? Has been to vet several times and dermatologist two times, been given special soap, still has the itch, when I bathe him it goes away for 1 week, then reappears. Please help, I just cannot keep buying products and go to vets, when nothing helps.

Dear Inge,

You might want to look at some of our products to help heal the skin. Derma-IonX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which reduces itching and inflammation , promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include probiotics and Omega 3,6,9. Together with Derma-IonX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. I would also suggest that you give your cat only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride. For the dietary modifications you might want to try a grain free diet for a while.

Defendex shampoo which is nontoxic washes away debris and soothes the skin. It should be much more effective than Castillo soap. Using these products is an effective way of improving skin health.

Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char www.vetionx.com
