I am asking this for a friend. She has a sick cat. He has been vomiting and has a fever. She has run out of money to spend at the vet and they have given her no diagnosis after many test. I want to help her to build up her cat's immune system, since she is on her own now with treatment. The possibilities of viral disease and bladder infections were mentioned. She did get a course of antibiotics, which may help. She reports he is not eating and listless. Which product would help him the most; which is a general immune system booster? -Kathleen-

Dear Kathleen,

I would use Dia-IonX which aids the endocrine system and tends to help the body to fight infection and inflammation. She will need to give fluids if the kitty doesn't want to eat. Do not use any municipal water that contains chlorine or fluoride. She can make turkey broth made with purified water. Also canned food A/D sold by veterinarians can be thinned and syringed into the mouth. Other things that have helped cats with viral infections include colloidal silver and zeolites. Probiotics such as Purina's FortiFlora can be given with food or put into solution at times away from antibiotics, silver or zeolites. I would also give enzymes and Omega 3,6,9.

I hope she can help this kitty. Please let us know how she does.

Best regards,
