Dia-IonX

My male maine coon rescue has in the past 4 weeks developed insulin dependent diabetes requiring 2 injections per day. He has a male Siamese cat friend who also shares the same water bowl. I purchased the Dia-IonX. Will the supplement be ok for his buddy? My regular vet instructed me to keep him on the same diet (not low carb) until we get him stabilized, but I want to gently begin making better changes in his diet. Any suggestions? We really want a remission outcome! Thanks!

Itching

I have a 6 year old Weimaraner who has been itching since last April. I have changed diet several times, built his immune system, etc. I recently did a hair analysis and found he has toxicity to Mercury, Selenium, Boron and Stronitum. Presently, I feed him a raw diet (variety of venison, duck, quail, turkey and chicken), raw veggies and whole cooked grain and some eggs. I give him Spirulina and Alga Calcarea, an organic vitamin supplement along with probiotics and fish oil. I believe the toxicity came from vaccinosis as I rescued him 2 years ago. They gave him the full gamut of vaccines when I got him. When I adopted him, he had a healthy looking stripe down his back but the rest of his hair was very thin. Since he was eating a diet of purina, I felt I could correct the problem with diet but the problems have escalated. Since I have had him in the last 2 years, he has had 1 rabies, 1 dose of steroid and 1 dose of topical flea medication. I would also like to mention, we live in a community where they like to spray "roundup" on the grounds. I don't know if this has any bearing on the itching problem. I am very interested in your thoughts on our problem. I look forward to getting him to a normal heathy state very soon. With Gratitude, Elaine Dame and Hansel

Derma-IonX

My dog is on his 6th bottle of Derma-IonX and his terrible itching continues. Is this product only a mild palliative and not a cure? He is eating very good quality of holistic food, only drinks filtered water, his treats are dry fish skin, he eats organic fruits and veggies. What am I doing wrong? It is what I have done with every dog that I have owned, but with completely different results.

Hip Dysplasia in Dog

Hi there Char I am looking for some treatment for my dog Spike who is a rotty/doby cross. He is 15 years old and is very wobbly on his back legs now. They don't extend straight anymore it seems. He had a bad accident about 7 years ago when his pelvis was smashed up but he fully recovered. I now give him Glucosamine with MSM and was giving him krill tabs daily but I wonder is Arthro-ionx likely to help with this? People have spoken about drugs like Previcox and Nupentin the former seems very controversial in reviews I have read. I have another dog who is four and very healthy. They share water bowls . Is this likely to be a problem for the healthy dog. Look forward to hearing back from you David in Oz

Wound on my cat

Hello there, my cat has gone to the vet for a wound on stomach, and we found out he had an infected tooth. His stomach also had a bacterial infection. It has been a few weeks since the vet and we are giving him penicillin in a liquid form, but he isn't getting better and his stomach is still oozing even though he has a cone on and he can't get to it. Is there anything i can do here at home to help treat that since I've already spent so much on a vet and they didn't really help him?

Cat dander

Suggest that website make it possible to read the terms of use without erasing all content previously input. Is there a homeopathic remedy for allergic reaction to cat dander? It seems improbable that the allergen protein caused by cats cleaning themselves can be eliminated. Is there a way to reduce it? Are there cats who have less of it? Thanks.
