Super-Immunity Meal Plan

By Christina Pasternak More Blogs by This Author

As the cold and flu season continues to worsen during these winter months, there is no better defense than a healthy immune system, which can be achieved through proper nutrition. We now know that what we eat significantly impacts our body’s natural immunity against infection and disease. A diet rich in naturally-occurring vitamins and minerals, specifically vitamins A, C, D, and E, B vitamins and folic acid, selenium, zinc, and iron, is required for a healthy immune system.

So what does a day of nutrient-dense, immune-boosting food look like? Below is a sample menu, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and, of course, dessert! This meal plan will not only provide you with all the nutrition required to boost your immune system and prevent infection, but it will cleanse your body, supply you with the phytonutrients and enzymes needed to fight free radicals, and will make your energy levels soar.
