my hair are falling do much and there are less hairs remaing....what can i do for that

Hair loss can be very frustrating for men and women alike.

A lot of my patients who are suffering from hair loss do not realize that there are many causes of hair loss.

If someone tries to tell you that they have one fool proof method for stopping hair loss, then don’t listen to them. Because there are many causes for hair loss, your treatment needs to be individualized to its cause.

Some common causes of hair loss include:

  • Stress,
  • Thyroid Problems,
  • Skin Infections (this usually cause hair loss with scaring),
  • Pregnancy,
  • Rapid weight loss,
  • Malnutrition,
  • Vitamin deficiencies,
  • Genetics (Unfortunately for some people, hair loss is a genetic trait. These people are usually forced to make a decision between accepting their hair loss verses using specific medication designed to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss).

If you are suffering from hair loss I would recommend:

  1. Work on stress reduction. (See my blog on meditation for anxiety and stress for one technique on stress reduction)
  2. Eat a balanced diet: including 10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and a proper supply of protein.
  3. Taking a prenatal vitamin with 1000 mcg of folate (folic acid) every day.
  4. See your physician or a dermatologist to discus getting lab tests, to rule out some possible causes of hair loss.
