So, a few years back I started getting some dry and itchy skin at the lower back of my skull (yeah, gross). It came and went over a couple of years or so, and now seems to have cleared up completely. I don't know if it was psoriasis, but it's never happened before or since, and hasn't shown up anywhere else on my body.

Anyone else had anything like this?

I've had psoriasis in a variety of places, and that exact location is where some of it has manifested in recent years. It's hard to confirm it, being in such a weird location on one's body, but I wouldn't rule it out - especially if you have a history of it yourself on other body areas, or a family history, or a history of other auto-immune issues.

I had something like this but it was not call psoriasis it was call Exzema or Atopic Dermatis http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001856/ What help with this for me is mild soap such as dove body wash and moisturizer such as no fragrance Curel lotion and you put it on as soon as you get out of the shower.
