Why almonds are AWESOME
Almonds are super awesome on a bunch of levels! The first is that they are delicious! Almonds can be enjoyed roasted, raw, fried, skinless, salted, with olive oil, or however you like them! Almonds are one of my favorite snacks ever!
The second reason is their health benefits! Studies have suggested that almonds promote healthy brain functioning and growth, improving memory and performance. Eating almonds can also improve your complexion and improve the health of your hair. Almonds help our bodies to burn fat and give us energy throughout the day. Almonds also reduce the chance of birth defects being rich in folic acid and vitamin B. Phosphorus, Magnesium, Copper, and Vitamin E are other supplements that almonds provide our body.
Almond oil can be used as a hair conditioner and natural skin moisturizer. When mixed with lemon juice and honey, almond oil can be used as a facial scrub.
Other awesome uses
Almonds can also be made into a lactose free milk. I haven't tried it yet but it is definitely on my to do list! There is a really good blog on how to make almond milk on here too. (Click here for an awesome almond milk how to!) You can also make butter from almonds. Almond oil can be used to relieve muscular pain by just applying it directly. If you ingest almond oil it will greatly improve digestion! It can also be used as a laxative.
So they are delicious, they have a billion health uses, and they make awesome projectiles in slingshots! SO GO GET YOURSELF SOME ALMONDS!!
