Purple Power Smoothie

This smoothie is full of nutrients and antioxidants to give your body just what it needs! It's great for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert after a meal.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 Peach
  2. 1 Apple
  3. 1 Plum
  4. 1 cup Blueberries
  5. 1 cup Blackberries
  6. 4 cups Spinach Leaves
  7. 2 cups Water

You may also need:

Blender

Step 1:

Combine all ingredients in your blender. Attach lid and blend!


Step 2:

Serve as a smoothie or put smoothie into popsicle molds, and freeze for a cold treat.

This looks delicious! I've tried black bean ice cream before and it was really good - do you know of any black bean smoothies that are on the sweeter side?

Black bean ice cream? Wow! You must share you recipe. As for the smoothie, I was just thinking of experimenting with white beans in my smoothie... but black beans would be delicious with berries to help cover the flavor/color :) Let me experiment and I will get back to you! Thanks for the idea.

I'm afraid the ice cream wasn't a recipe, it was just something I found at an Asian grocer and decided to try. Apparently it's a fairly popular flavor.
