For the past few years Irie has had black patches, worts, and now soft lumps on her back and stomach. She has been treated by vet with antibiotics repeatedly and lately steroids..these work but only temporary..trying to control her diet and feeding her sweet potato/duck dog. She scratches but doesn't seem miserable. What can we do??? The lumps and rash are getting worse and worse! -Cammy-

Dear Cammy,

Derma-IonX which is an oral homeopathic product stimulates the enzyme systems in the body which reduces inflammation, promotes healing of the skin and helps with assimilation of nutritional components in the diet and supplements. The supplements I use along with it include digestive enzymes, probiotics, vitamin C, MSM, and fish oil. Together with Derma-IonX it produces a synergistic effect for a faster response. It can also be used topically if there are troublesome spots on the skin. I would also suggest that you give your dog only filtered water for drinking and bathing if your water contains chlorine or fluoride.

I would also advise blood work be done if you have not had any done recently. If there are any abnormalities let us know.

Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char
