Health Questions & Answers

I have a 12 year old Border Terrier mix and she has stopped using her back right leg because I think she pulled a muscle or tendon when trying to jump on the couch? The same thing happened last year at this time. I put her in the hot tub a few times a week and she loves it. I am not sure which of these products would be best for her? She is not showing signs of pain or discomfort. She lets me stretch and massage her leg but she limps when she tries to weight bear on it. She is using it more often but she is quite stiff when she gets up after resting. I really appreciate your help in deciding what product would be best. thanks and have a great day.  -Tooie-

Dear Tooie,

I would choose Promaxol because it contains the LM potencies of all the ingredients. I think you might be dealing with some Large Intestine Meridian issues because that meridian takes precedence at this time of the year.
Muscles in the the thigh and lower back are associated with it. You might consider a veterinary chiropractor or acupuncturist if this tends to re-occur. I would also give some supplements such as digestive enzymes, probiotics, and fish oil.

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,

Dr. Char
