Dear Annette,

Arthro-IonX can help with pain and inflammation. I would give 1 /2 teaspoon twice daily to start and with improvement decrease the dosage to 3/4 teaspoon once daily.

If your girl tends to run warm then the better protein choices during the summer would be fish or turkey (which are cooling foods according to Chinese Medicine). If you can shop at Costco their prices are cheaper than the pet store for a comparable product.

Salmon diets tend to be more costly. Other supplements that I recommend are Canine Probiotics, MSM, vitamin C, and Omega 3,6,9. Your glucosamine would be helpful, too. Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
