13 month old Westie has no appetite for dog food or treats for dogs of any kind. I have had him since he was 7 wks. old and have had to try to pamper him in getting him to eat even human food such as chicken, turkey...meat or veggies of any kind. My vet said to try to starve him into eating dog food...tried that for 72 hours with no luck at all. I need to find something that will stimulate his eating and want him to be on a regular dog diet. I bought this breed because of their voracious appetites...did not want to have a little dog who was picky...he has turned into my nightmare about eating. Vitamins are promptly thrown up and I am at my wits end with him. I spare no expense for him, but he is making me very anxious about his health and well-being. Help! Is there a supplement that will stimulate his appetite. He is 13 months and 20# and is not starving...just wants to eat turkey burgers and grilled cheese! -Nancy-

Dear Nancy,

I would give H2O-IonX to help digestion. I would try a premium dog food that is grain free. (Ask the pet store if you can try samples so you can a find a favorite flavor.) I would also use Canine Probiotics to provide better digestion. If the stomach is sensitive pets may not be real eager to eat.

Please let us know what response you get and we can offer more suggestions if necessary.

Best regards,
