My 8 year old standard poodle immediately shows signs of extreme diarrhea when we have to board her. She seems fine, but I believe she is internalizing her anxiety...thus the diarrhea. Would your Anxietrex be effective in this situation? Thank you for your time. Unfortunately we do have to leave her and would like to know that she is doing fine while we are gone. Again...thank you. -Julie-

Dear Julie,

I would try Anxietrex for the boarding anxiety. You will want to use it for a while in advance and while you are away. I would also send along some Purina FortiFlora probiotics to add to her own food. Start this beforehand too. If the amount of stress that she develops is great you might consider a quieter kennel or having someone come into your home to care for her, or a house sitter. Then you might understand better what part of the experience is the most difficult for her to handle. (Missing you, new surroundings, other animals, too much commotion).

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
