I have a 10.5 year old yellow lab. She is eating fine, drinking fine and pottying fine. She walks well, has very little arthritic symptoms in the day. She gets one or two daily walks that are about 30 min. each. She gets a good diet, vitamins, pumpkin. She does have a ton of fatty tumors all over. The issue is that she groans/moans throughout the night. NOT DREAMING. It would seem she is in pain, but it stops as soon as she is up and she is walking and going about just fine. I would think if she was in that much pain there would be symptoms in the day that would be there. I had a blood panel done on her and everything came back in normal range. We have used Arthro-Ionx and there doesn't seem to be any difference. Have you ever experienced this? Thank you. -Michelle-

Dear Michelle,

In Chinese Medicine when symptoms are worse at night there could be a yin deficiency. You might want to find a veterinary acupuncturist for a consultation. Are you giving the supplements we recommend along with Arthro-IonX? That might help as well.
