My 11 year old Dalmatian has dry and scaley skin along his mouth -jowls- and under his chin. The vet says it is an allergy and said I should use peroxide and an antiseptic spray he gave me. My dog hates it and it is very painful for him. I have been cleaning it with a cloth and warm water to soften the crusty part and it comes off, but his skin looks very raw and red. I think it is so painful that sometimes it hurts to eat. Would you suggest the Derma-IonX for him? I use the the other Ionx for his joints and there has been a lot of improvement in his mobility. Thank you. -Judy-

Dear Judy,

I would try Derma-IonX. You might try giving a half dose of Derma-IonX in the morning and a half dose of Arthro-IonX in the evening.

What food and other supplements are you giving?

Best regards,
