My dog, is 7 months old and diagnosed with dysplasia on the right hip. We live on the mountain and its very rocky and steep, so when he plays with his sister he has to run on that enviroment. All the websites speak about good exersise of the dog. So my question apart from swimming what other excercise could it be?? in order to help him? Thank you in advance - Vicky

Dear Vicky,

There are a few things you could do to help the situation. Arthro-IonX helps to stimulate healing as well as providing relief. In addition, I find it helpful to follow a holistic approach by giving some nutritional supplements to accompany Arthro-IonX. The supplements I recommend are Canine Probiotics, MSM, Vitamin C, Perna mussel, and Omega 3,6,9. I would also try to feed a high quality grain free diet during the growth phase or at least avoid any GMO grains. Arthro-IonX will help the body to better utilize the nutrition for a synergistic response.

I also find veterinary chiropractic helpful. Spinal alignment and positioning the head of the femur is essential to proper joint formation.

Please let us know how you progress or if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Dr. Char
