My Yorkshire Terrier 8 year old dog has newmarus wart like lesion on his back and neck, how can I treat him? My vet said is a sign of getting old. Is this correct? -Anna-

Dear Anna,

It is not uncommon for older dogs to develop warts in general. You could try Derma-IonX to help boost the immune system. I would give 10 drops with breakfast and dinner. It can be sprayed on the wart as well. You could also get some homeopathic Thuja 30C from the health food store which you could give one pellet orally at bedtime for 3 weeks. I also give supplements such as digestive enzymes, probiotics, MSM, and fish oil.

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
