Health Questions & Answers

My dog is going in to have his stomach tacked. He is so scared that he shakes uncontrollable. How are the Chill Out Chews going to work for that? Also they want to give him pain pills for a few days. Our other dog took Tramadol and ended up having sesiures. She is now on Phenobarbitol for life.  I do not want him ending up the same way. Thank You, Nancy

Dear Nancy,

Before hand it would be good to give our homeopathic Anxietrex and the Chill-Out Chews. Hopefully he will be able to handle the stress better. After the surgery you could give Promaxol for pain relief so that you can use less conventional pain medication and still keep him comfortable. You might want to try Promaxol on your other dog to help the nervous system. You might also contact a veterinary chiropractor and acupuncturist. Seizures are sometimes caused by spinal subluxation or a congested liver. These two modalities along with Promaxol might be helpful. It is worth a try. Other things to consider that impact health in general are diet, treats, and supplements. Filtered water is also worth the extra effort.

What do you give in all these categories?

Best regards,

Dr. Char
