Quick overview - My 5 yr old Boxer has been diagnosed with Spondelosa, arthritis and currently has a pinched nerve in her back which affects her mobility. We have been dealing with this for two months now. She is currently on Tramadol (morn and eve), Glucosamine and Rimadyl. My hopes for this product is that I can get her off of these rx medications and back to her old self. She currently has good days and bad days. Should I continue to give her the Glucosamine while she is taking this product? Assuming I see results, I will start reducing the rx medications. Thank you -Stacy-

Dear Stacy,

Yes you should continue to give Glucosamine. With slight improvement begin to decrease your conventional medication per your veterinarian's advice. The drugs make the liver work harder and in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, an unhappy liver can worsen arthritis symptoms. I would also recommend veterinary chiropractic to see if it can help the back and hip pain.

Please keep us updated on your progress.

Best regards,

Dr. Char
