Health Questions & Answers

I have a female greyhound that is very active.  She is 10 years old and has had incontinence issues off and on for a few years. Normally after she runs hard she will leak. Now even after a few days she is leaking and getting her bed wet. Her skin is pink so I am using natural baby wipes to clear off the urine. I had her on natural bladder strength, which didn't work.  Went back to leaks no more, hoping it will work like it did before. What can I give her that is natural and no side effects. Not ever going to use Pro ever again!. Made her depressed and weird. Can you recommend something safe and natural? Thank you. Terry

Dear Terry,

I would have a veterinary chiropractor check the lower back. Acupuncture can be helpful too. Some veterinary acupuncturists might be able to get Chinese herbs for incontinence.

Are you using Arthro-IonX currently? I would give that as well as the supplements I suggested before. In addition I would give a Choline/ B vitamin supplement called Geri-Form to help the nerves innervating the bladder.

Please let us know of the response you get.

Best regards,

Dr. Char
