Dr Char, I am using Derma-IonX and feel it is helping to keep Sami from scratching as much. Has only scratched a of couple times in past few months. Still has sores due to cleansing with enzymes. Have been told I'm wasting money on allergy injections after a year and half and that need to clear up toxins in the gut with enzymes & Derma-IonX to aid itchy skin. She had last injection last week of last order from the blood testing done a year & half ago. Still got rashes and black skin to this day so what is your opinion if possible if I waste my money on continuing with this as it didn't stop rashes and vet kept on with antibiotics that work long term. Sami is still going at her feet, could be habit now, enzyme people say it' s probably the yeast between toes and have tried many formulas to soak and nothing works. Have just put her back on raw food again. My husband wants to give a time line of end of June if no improvement on the enzymes.  We have to give up.  Nothing the vets have done other than I believe the steroids that have now caused liver enzymes to be a bit high and is on ursodile. Sorry to be so long, but am beside myself and has been costly to no avail. -Donna-

Dear Donna,

I would continue with Derma-IonX. I would also try Canine Probiotics and Omega 3,6,9. I would also give MSM, vitamin C, and olive leaf extract. You might also want to get some Willard's Water - Ultimate formula from the Health food store. It might be time to give the allergy desensitization shots a break. I am glad she is not scratching, but I hope the skin will start to look better.

Best regards,

Dr. Char
