The new year has passed and another issue of The Kibble is out.

Speaking of the new year, pet owners and lovers, are you ready to embark on many new adventures with your dog? Well, this month opportunities are endless because January is National Train Your Dog Month. What a great way to start out 2012!

Maybe learning more about dog training could be one of your new year resolutions?

The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) makes this very attainable all at the click of a mouse. This month only they are offering free training for you and your pet. They offer webinars  that you can access anytime during this month.  Topics range from separation anxiety in dogs to teaching your kids how to be safe around dogs. And what's even better is that you can go at your own pace. You can stop or pause the pre-recorded video webinar anytime.

They are also offering faceboook chats with professional dog trainers. Just scroll down the page to see when and where the chats are.

Don’t forget to check out HelloLife’s dog trainer Victoria Swanson either by reading her blog  or watching pet training videos. She has contributed lots of wisdom on dog training over this past 2011 year and you have quick access to her knowledge.

What have you learned about dog training this past year? What do you hope to learn/work on this year with your dog?
