Asian Style Chicken Burgers
By Serves 4

Fast, healthy, and down right awesome. These burgers are great for lunch, dinner, or a picnic.

  1. 1 pound ground chicken breast
  2. 2 to 3 cloves of garlic
  3. 1 ginger root
  4. 3 Tablespoons Sesame seed oil
  5. 2 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  6. 4 hamburger buns, English Muffins, or pretzel roles
  7. Salt, Pepper to taste
  8. 1 × Nonstick Spray, such as Pam
  9. 1 × Toppings of your choosing

You may also need:

Grill, Skillet, Spoon

Step 1:

Mince or paste the garlic and approximately ¼- ½ of the ginger root. Set aside.

Step 2:

Combine ground chicken breast, ginger, garlic, oil, soy sauce, and pepper (salt will come later) and mix. Be careful not to over mix; just enough so the ingredients combine will be sufficient. Form four patties

Step 3:

Heat a large skillet or grill over med-high heat. Just before the pan is ready, spray with nonstick coating and let the pan get back to temperature.

Step 4:

Add chicken patties to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, so the patties are cooked through and have a nice crust. While cooking add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5:

While the patties are cooking, toast the buns to your liking.

Step 6:

Place each patty on a toasted bun, add toppings if you like and serve!!!!
