  • I agree, I can never have a Top 5. It's always going to change. There's too many to list.

  • Haha, Colleen, I was going to say exactly the same thing. The one thing that really stood out to me is that it is an impossibility to list of top 5 anything musical. I can't even list my top 5 favorite bands, because how can I say that I prefer one thing over another, when they are completely different and amazing on their own merits? Why don't you ask me to choose between my senses, or my arms or my legs? I can't eat with my feet, but I can't walk with my hands, so how could I choose one over the other? That is how I feel about my music. Each individual band is a part of me, not greater or lesser than the other. I may be more addicted to one band over another at this moment, but to say that I like them more than my other favorites would be a disservice to my love for the others. And those that ask me that question I brush off as not being music lovers. If you can narrow your favorite bands down to five, you have no appreciation for music.

  • Music is loved by everyone I'm sure! I do have a story though! So last weekend my mom and sisters came over for the weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. We ended up having great weather (even though they predicted rain). So based on this great weather we had the air conditioner on cuz it was so warm outside and guess where our music is? You guessed it, indoors with the air. Well we spent 90% of the day outside and it was a blast. However, the one thing that was missing from this great weekend was the MUSIC. We're going to have to get a stereo outside! Music makes everything better!

  • That it does Nancy! No doubt about it. I always think it is amazing when a song happens to be playing while you are making a fond memory, and then when that song comes on later in life you are instantly transported back to said memory.
