Arthro-Ionx VS Dasuquin

I have recently taken our service dog to the vets regarding his arthritis. He is a yellow lab & german shepherd mix, weighing 99 lbs. We currently have him on a weight mamagement dog food product call R/D & Omaga 3's. Our Vet read the ingredients on the Artho-IonX bottle we purchased from Vetionx. Vet said wasn't familiar with the product and that the Cosequin product lines were the only brand proven to be safe, effective, and bioavailable in a published controlled studies and that there are also "generics" less costly that may provide benefit. So questions?; is Arthro-IonX "proven" to be safe, effective, and bioavailable? Were they in a published controlled study? How does your product stack-up to Dasuquin with MSM? Is your product considered on of the "generics" that are effective?

My dog has tumors and arthritis

Could you point me to the bottles I should, but for pain/arthritis? Im taking her to the vet tomorrow as she is 11 years old pitbull and she isn't doing so well. I think we will have surgery to remove the huge tumors that seem to bring her down. She wasn't moving for like two days but today she has a lot more. Anyhow I am not a fan of prescription so was hoping this could change her. Kindly advise any advice. Thank uuuu
