Watermelons are juicy and delicious and one of my favorite fruits to eat during the summer. I knew they were good for your health, but I never thought they could potentially help to lower blood pressure. According to an article on Naturalnews.com, nine adults took watermelon extract for six weeks and it lessened their blood pressure. Apparently, watermelon contains an amino acid, L-citrulline, which helps to regulate blood pressure in the body. I always loved eating watermelon, but this makes me want to eat it even more!
