Thank you for contacting us in regards to our product, Dia-IonX.

Dia-Ionx is used in conjunction with a pet's insulin shots, but it does NOT replace the shots. However some owners are able to greatly decrease the amount of insulin with time with the supervision of their vet, so you would just need to work with your vet.

We want to share with some additional information in regards to our product to help guide you in making the best decision for your pet.

Dia-IonX was designed to help with the symptoms of diabetes. It helps the body to better utilize diet and supplements better for a synergistic effect for a faster response. Dia-IonX also contains homeopathics that benefit the kidneys.

Other dietary restrictions, for diabetic pets, must also be taken into consideration such as; feeding only diabetes-approved food and treats. To optimize health, give enzymes with each meal, add a probiotic, and a fish oil (for dogs include MSM and Vitamin C).

Exercise helps to move glucose from the blood stream into the muscles helping to regulate the blood sugar levels. Hopefully you can get your pet to play, having a consistent schedule is necessary in good regulation.

Please feel free to contact us anytime with questions or concerns.

All the best,

Victoria Vet Coordinator and Product Specialist
