I have a cat with diabetis and my vet has instructed me to go to GNC and get L-carnitine - can you help me with this? He is on insulin and vet food canned for diabetic diet. -Pat-

Dear Pat,

We do not sell Carnitine. The dose is 25-50 mg per pound of body weight given orally each day. Along with Dia-IonX to control the symptoms I also give digestive enzymes that include pancreatic enzymes, Omega 3,6,9 and a B vitamin/ Cholone product called Geri-Form to aid the nerves.
