Health Questions & Answers

I have a kitty who sometimes pees, especially on beds, sometimes she'll look us in the eye and pee on the bed in front of us. No UTI, it seems like she's telling us something but I don't get it. Any other considerations? She's 5 years old, we got her from the humane society a few months ago and otherwise she is a loving, playful, follows us around kitty. Sleeps curled up with us in the bed too. We';D appreciate any help. -Kristin-

Dear Kristin,

You could try Anxietrex for your cat. It is easy to give by adding to the food or water. It helps pets deal with various causes of anxiety. Sometimes it is hard to determine the stimulus. You can also team it up with Chill Out Chews. It is very calming. Diet can also affect behavior. What do you feed her? Artificial preservatives and colors are good to avoid. I like a non GMO diet. I would try a grain free food. Food sensitivity can make the bladder feel irritated. Another thing you could try are pheremones available from your veterinarian or pet store. Veterinary acupuncture can sometimes affect behavior or soothe the bladder.

Please let us know how you do.

Best regards,
