So often we hear about the newest and most revolutionary drug that will solve all of your anxiety issues. We hear about them and tend to start analyzing whether we suffer from anxiety issues, some of us come to the conclusion that we do and absolutely need the drug, others do not. My question is this: Is there anyone out there who has conquered their anxiety by pure power of will alone? I'm not talking about worry, but a full blown panic attack.

Sometimes these attacks we are going thru (which i am too experiencing at times, just not that bad) it does have some to do with what we think, and if we have things in our lives that are unresolved and are hanging on our heads. Too much negativity in our minds can have bad side effects. Praying will help so much, spending time with God and asking Him to guide you thru this experience you are going thru. But you have to fight back your self, tell your self that this too shall pass. Think and thank GOD of all the blessings you have in your life, think and write down all your thoughts when you have these attacks, then counteract with possitive thoughts. You have to catch yourself when you are starting to think negative or dwell on something you can not control and turn it around :) I truly hope this helps, I know in some things it helps me. I too am going thru some cases of anxiety and some depression, but we have to have the will power to fight back. I am now attending a 12 step at my church and looking into counseling. My aunt did counseling when she had a bad case of anxiety and she gave me some great tips on how the counseling helped her. Please take care of yourself, be strong, it will pass :)
