Health Questions & Answers

I have back pains, stomach pains sometimes, feel like I have skin burns, feel like I am wearing socks of needls on my legs (knee down), feel like my skin on my face is numbing. Sometimes when it gets worse i feel like I have hot blood going thru my veins, also I feel inside like my body is screaming, but when you look at me you wouldn't know something is wrong. I also feel like I have something stuck in my throat and pressure in my ears. Sometimes at night I feel chills and during the day I also fill like chills going from the lower back to the legs, that is when my anxiety is kicking in again. I have taken every test at the doctor and everything came back normal and a lot of people tell me that is based on the nervous system. Oooooh i am so tired of it :(

Hello Christine,

The symptoms that you are describing, numbness in the face, pressure around the neck/jawline, insomnia, free-floating (non-associative) anxiety, earaches, and even hot flashes or cold sweats, are symptomatic of fibromyalgia. Although it is often difficult to diagnose fibymyalgia, I think it would be worth talking to your doctor about, or perhaps finding a doctor who knows more about it to talk to.

The problem with diagnosing conditions whose symptoms are wide-spread pain, is that there are many conditions that can cause this wide-spread pain. It is important to make sure you are also looking out for any additional symptoms that might not feel as prominent or important as the pain is because they can be key indicators as to what the actual condition is. Common misdiagnoses for fibromyalgia include hypothyroidism, sleep apnea, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and malignancy.

I think the best thing to do is give a good, reputable, search about the symptoms you are experiencing, as well as keep a journal of diet in relation to symptoms, and perhaps you may find what's behind your chronic pain.

In the meantime, for relief, you may want to try our product Neuroveen. Although you may not have neuropathy, the product does help to treat the symptoms of neuropathy which can include pain, burning, tingling, weakness, and sensitivity. I think this product may help you find some relief while you search for the cause.

I hope this information helps and if you have any more questions or would like some more information, please feel free to ask.
