What food can I give 3 and 4yrs old children that are lactose intolerance? What do I give in place of yogurt,cheese?

Hello there!

If you are looking for foods to help get more calcium into their daily diets, I would suggest Broccoli, sweet potatoes, and oranges. These may be the easiest foods high in calcium that you can get a child to eat. (Trust me, I know how picky kids can be :) )

The best thing to do it just pay attention to the label and look out for any dairy products or dairy by-products. I do know that Yoplait has recently come out with a lactose free yogurt which may be something you might want to look in to.
