Hi Jody!

If you go to this link, there are a ton of reviews for Synaptol - over 100, I think! Some of the stories are pretty incredible :)

How long has your son been on Synaptol? I would love to hear how he does!

Just ordered Synaptol. Cannot wait to get it. We hit our wall with our 8 1/2 year old son when we realized his behavior was directing everything about our lives. People have stopped inviting us to functions and we have stopped going out almost completely. We feel we are doing a disservice to him so we are changing. Hopefully Synaptol will help him slow his speed a bit and calm the wiggle worm in school some. We do not expect perfection. We want to start seeing him enjoying life again. If that makes sense.

Tes, that makes perfect sense :) Lots of people have had wonderful success with Synaptol...hopefully the same will be true for you! Keep us posted on his progress, I'd love to hear how he does.

Best wishes!

hi tes i am another mum absolutely amazed by synaptol effects on my 3yo son i am very anti the drugs that are precribed for add to kids these days and i also did not want to get my son tested for the reason that he would then be labelled for the rest of schoolb day as the ADD/ADHD kid.. i started to notice a calmer and more responsive 3yo after 2/3 days since started jordan (my son) on synaptol 3 months on and friends, carers even neighbours have started to comment on how well behaved and polite he has been lately.. and unless they need to know i have not told them bout synaptol but do highly recommend it to others that bring up their concerns bout add symptoms in their kids i just say before u go to the doctors just try synaptol for a month if no different then get kids assessed!!!!

Just received synaptol for myself. I know ADD and ADHD runs in my family. I am not into any medications so i decided to do some research on ADD medicines I happen to find your holistic product and decided to try it. I figure if it helps me than I can get some for my boys and refer some of my family to something that will help without the harmful effects of those drugs out there. I will send more info as soon as I know a differance in my concentration and anything else i experience in this product.

Hello, my son is taking synaptol . He started this week. He has not been diagosed with ADD but his teacher has talked to us about him getting distracted during class. He doesn't have any other problem just that he starts to daydream all of the sudden. If the teacher is not just right in front of him and if he is not participating he just get distracted and he misses the rest of the lecture. He is seven years old. Well, this week it seems for one reason to be worse. We got a note 3 days of the week that he was distracted during class. I will post any other commets along our journey. Best wishes to everybody

Is just weird how every post in here only talks about the "i just bought" " Im trying" but no one talks about the "Yes... it works.. " so interesting that i have not been able t find anyone to confirm that this product works. and funny it is that I think the blog moderator will not post my comments because is not good business for them. they are just trying to protect their cash flow in. If anyone really can testify that this works.. let all of us know.

Jean, have you read the testimonials in the store or on synaptol.com? There are plenty of success stories. Also, Tes (a few posts up) blogged about her success with Synaptol. You might want to check those out.

My daughter has been on synaptol over a week and so far no drastic change... the school is supposed to call me on Friday to let me know if there has been any difference on there end. My daughter seems more sensitive easy to cry than to yell and scream like she used to... not sure if synaptol is the reason and las thing I want is a child that is easily brought to tears either.

I have struggled w/ ADD my whole life. Been taking Synaptol for a week and I am seeing good results! Going to try it on my 7 year old soon!

The drugs that are given for ADD are so extreme. I was expecting something like that and it's not. It's subtle but it is working. I'm almost completely off of my RX's now. My husband says he sees a change as well.

I have been using the product for my 6 year old girl and can say nothing but amazing. Its been two years now and thought she may have grown out of it so stopped the drops but just one week later the results really shocked me as I had forgotten how bad she was at the start before taking it. I stuck it out for one month before the start of the new school year and by this time started to rip my hair out and so was her older sister. Even the people living around me said what ever you have changed go back to the old way as she is out of control.as a single parent pay is little but I can honestly say that my daughter and my self gave up a few things just to pay for more. I wont be in a hurry to stop it again for some time as it was not worth it at all. she went from a b student to not passing at all. Even my doctor is letting other people know about it as she has also seen the difference.

My 6 year old has been on it for two years, I saw changes with in a week but would say three weeks before she got the full effect from it. I only had her on half dose but as she was small it worked well. I have now got her on the full does to get her back to where she was. its been a week and nearly back to where we where.

@Fiona: Thank-you for your quick answer. I wish we were seeing the same results as you. My daughter is 6 and takes 2 droppers a day like yours. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow and I think we see changes at home but the school hasn't seemed to notice anything and are pushing for meds =(. Nice tree Froggy btw. I have 2 Grey Tree Frogs you should peek at Frogforum.com great site.

Rae, I believe that there are definelty different severities to Add/ADHD and that sometimes it takes a good month for it to help. My son has been on it for a full two weeks and I have seen dramatic changes at school in positive ways. I am fortunate enough to say that our school focuses on the positive reinforcemnts. He checks in with the Principal three times a week and has an open door policy to see him if he is struggling emotionally or socially with his peers. My son still is showing some difficulty with his social anxiety. He is well liked by many of his peers but is having a hard time with bigger groups and even with controlling his anger when kids are mean etc. He does not act out physically but will scream at them and occasionally yell out a profanity instead of walking away. So I am looking into combining an antianxiety for him until his confidence gets better. I believe that lifestyle changes that we have made in the last two years has helped as well, not ever easy it will be a long but worth while journey! I only hope the best for all of us.

@ Rae, I also took my girl off to much sugar like soft drinks and some other un healthy foods and was wondering if you have done a food chart to see if your daughter reacts to thinks as some times it can really surprise you what does for example i found out that she reacts to citric acid and its in a lot of products. I also agree with what silver said. Each child is different and it takes time to adjust how she reacts with people as its all new to them. I think its great to get different feed back ,.

I tried my 5 year old on Synaptol after weeks of his teacher complain of him not paying attention in school & she suggested medication. 1st of all, he is only 5 so it's hard for anyone that age to sit still 7 hours of school. I really noticed the difference when I took artifical stuff out of his daily diet such as sweetners, color, flavors, etc. I also added more fresh veggies, fruit & organic products. I don't think Synaptol really did anything for him.

Thank-you everyone and yes it is nice to get different opinion. We already avoid sugar for the most part in this family and she gets lots of fruit and veggies. I have about 2 weeks left before I have to decide to order more or try a new product. I've been looking at Bright Spark and another product the "claims" to work well.

I have been giving this to my son who is 9 because the principal and 3 teachers were telling us that his schoolwork was definitely needing improvement, failing in 3 classes. He has been on Synaptol for 9 days now, I see some improvement at home, however, he has insomnia. He wakes up 3-4 times a night. One night he came to me at 4:00 am and said he had not slept all night.. He didn't have this before I gave him Synaptol. I cut down from 2 doses to 1 dose in the morning, He still is complaining of waking up a couple times at night. Does anyone have this symptom?
