5 Steps to Keep Your Kids Healthy and Focused in College

- Maintain a daily planner. This will help your kids be able to schedule classes, special events, and homework due dates. Organization is needed for a successful college experience.
- Get a good night's sleep.
- Research. It's important for your kids to know what courses are needed and start the scheduling process as soon as possible.
- Eat a healthy breakfast.
- Don't schedule back-to-back classes. Remind your kids it's important to have study time before class. They'll appreciate their decision when finals come.
- Take a multi vitamin daily.
- Routine. Put aside the needed study time. It's estimated for every one hour in class, three hours of study time is needed.
- Eat a nutritious lunch.
- Finish homework early.
