About Jeffrey VanWingen M.D.

I am a family doctor practicing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I earned my M.D. from Michigan State University. For over 10 years I have been blessed to care for essentially the same population of people, a wonderful cross-section of my community. I feel called to help people improve their health, from whatever level they may be at. To accomplish this, I call upon my medical training and a vast array of experience from my own life. Together with my wife, I am raising 4 children presently ranging from highschool aged to newborn. I enjoy teaching in the community and the medical setting. Each year I visit India to provide medical care and teach local healthcare workers.
Our health is both a gift and a responsibility. I hope to use this venue to inspire people to make the most of this gift and make better, more responsible choices with their health.
